Resmi Diumumkan, ini Daftar Lengkap Nominasi Grammy Awards 2022

MUSIM Grammy Awards resmi dibuka. Pihak Recording Academy mengumumkan nominasi untuk Grammy Awards ke-64, Selasa (23/11) waktu AS. Musisi Jon Batiste mendominasi. Tahun ini, pianis jazz itu memimpin perolehan nominasi di 11 kategori . Termasuk penghargaan-penghargaan utama, seperti record of the year dan album of the year.

Setelah Batiste, ada nama Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, dan H.E.R di urutan kedua dengan masing-masing mengantongi delapan nominasi. Sementara itu, para musisi muda, seperti Billie Eilish dan Olivia Rodrigo, hanya tertinggal sedikit di belakang dengan tujuh nominasi.

Selain pengumuman nomini, Recording Academy juga membawa kejutan baru. Mereka memperkenalkan kategori baru tahun ini. Seperti best global music performance (global music field), dan best musica urbana album (latin music field). Dengan penambahan itu, saat ini secara total, ada 88 kategori yang dilombakan di Grammy. Lebih lanjut, pihak penyelenggara juga meningkatkan jumlah nominasi di setiap empat kategori besar (song, album, dan record of the year, serta best new artist) dari delapan jadi 10. Hal itu tentunya akan membuat persaingan menjadi semakin ketat. Oleh sebab itu, penonton tak boleh ketinggalan menyaksikan malam penghargaan pada 31 Januari 2022.
