CRITICS' Choice Awards ke-28 berlangsung di Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel di Los Angeles pada Minggu (15/1) malam waktu setempat. Acara penghargaan tahunan tersebut memberikan pengakuan kepada karya film dan tontonan televisi setahun sebelumnya.
Film produksi A24 Everything Everywhere All at Once yang membukukan 14 nominasi pulang dengan lima kemenanganan, termasuk untuk best picture.

Sementara itu, Abbott Elementary dari stasiun televisi ABC memimpin di tontonan televisi dengan enam nominasi dan membawa pulang dua kemenangan, termasuk best comedy series.
Chelsea Handler menjadi pembawa acara siaran Critics' Choice Awards, menggantikan aktor Taye Diggs, yang sebelumnya membawakan acara penghargaan selama empat tahun terakhir.
Penghargaan khusus diberikan kepada Janelle Monáe, yang menerima penghargaan #SeeHer, sedangkan Jeff Bridges dianugerahi Lifetime Achievement Award.
